Enhance and manage the communication and marketing efforts of the College of Engineering to strengthen its future, especially as it pertains to recruitment and promotional activities.
Develop and execute marketing plans to further enhance the College's reputation. Communicate via print, web, social media, interpersonal, etc. Devise and carry out plans to strengthen relationships with important audiences including faculty/staff, community, alumni and donors.
Prepare feature stories about the College and its events. Create regular internal newsletters/news items along with brochures to support initiatives.
Create regular newsletters/news items along with brochures (graduate, undergraduate, etc) to support initiatives, write remarks, and correspondence for College leaders including Dean.
Coordinate and collaborate with the Department of University Communications and Marketing to ensure consistency, continuity of the Institutional brand, College-level brand and key messaging. Assist the College's departments with their communication needs. Keep college websites up-to-date and relevant.
Measure the effectiveness of all communications and marketing initiatives and revise plans accordingly to increase effectiveness.
Requires a relevant Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience designing and implementing effective communications/marketing plans.
Experience producing promotional materials, solving problems with creativity, imagination and ability to take charge required.
Ability to communicate effectively with varied audiences, manage time and tasks effectively while working on multiple projects and establish priorities and goals required.
Computer skills including web site content updating, word processing, graphic design software skills, spreadsheet and related software capabilities required.
