A Day in the Life
The Senior Manager of Digital Performance Marketing will be responsible for the leadership, strategic planning, development, and management of paid/performance digital marketing channels. The Senior Manager of Digital Performance Marketing is both a marketer and technologist who will shape, scale, and execute our company’s digital marketing strategy to drive profitable revenue growth through retention, reactivation, and acquisition.
Provide hands-on leadership in managing all aspects of ROI-based digital performance marketing campaigns across direct response channels including, but not limited to, Search, SEO, Email, Display, and Paid Social
Development of digital marketing strategy and roadmap that aligns to and achieves the company’s short and long term customer file growth, financial, and brand development goals
Optimize digital marketing campaigns and direct response channels in a forward thinking way to ensure success in the ever changing digital world and evolving consumer buying habits; Driving change and new ideas up through leadership
Provide leadership and mentoring to the Digital Performance Marketing team
Leverage online and offline data sources and analytical tools to develop and present KPI and ad-hoc reports with actionable insight on consumer behavior and campaign performance; making recommendations for improvement and reallocation of spend
Partner within Marketing team to execute against customer journey marketing campaign strategies.
Manage detailed digital marketing demand forecasting and generation along with budget development and oversight; reporting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance
Develop and execute strategic A/B testing framework and continually evaluate, research and test new opportunities
Leverage and manage external strategic partners as it relates to digital performance marketing
Collaborate with VP of Marketing to develop three-year strategic marketing plans, demand budgets, forecasts, and models
Continually assess, improve and evolve the current digital marketing infrastructure, process and tool sets to deliver greater efficiencies, delivery and customer insight

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
6+ years in roles of increasing responsibility in digital marketing for an e-commerce company, preferably in a retail or digital marketing agency
3+ years management experience
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience building, implementing and optimizing digital performance marketing campaigns including SEM, SEO, Display, Email, Social advertising platforms, behavioral targeting, audience segmentation, and customer acquisition
Advanced Microsoft Office skills are essential
Proficient in paid media and analytics reporting platforms such as Google Analytics, AdWords, and Facebook Business Manager
Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, concepts and practices including demand attribution and the measurement of programs
Passionate about emerging trends and advancements in digital marketing and media
Passionate, self-starter, able to seamlessly switch between strategic innovation and operational excellence
Excellent relationship building, communication, organizational, and project management skills
Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to mentor and develop staff
Professionalism and Tenacity: this is a key position with high visibility in the organization
Ability to develop presentations and present insights and recommendations
Nice to Haves
Google Adwords certification
Knowledge of customer journey marketing is a plus
