This position is responsible for developing and implementing marketing programs, communications and campaigns necessary to achieve company objectives in various business segments. Responsibilities include, and are not limited to, segment analysis, program/project management, channel management and various ad hoc assignments.
Assists management in developing marketing strategies and program plans to support company efforts to increase market share (new sales and retention) using Market segment trends
Assists in assessing market segment competitive landscape to improve or launch new programs
Devises cross-sell and/or up-sell tactics to enhance sales
Develops messages for segment related communication efforts
Leads cross-functional teams to execute internal and external marketing and operational/process improvement programs/projects: o Internal cross-functional partners include Underwriting, Sales, Operations, Legal/Compliance and IT o External cross-functional partners include third party administrators, general agent partners, advertising agencies and print, mail house and fulfillment vendors
Monitors performance, response and ROI of marketing programs to ensure that they meet program and financial objectives
Manages program budgets for marketing campaigns
Oversees development and maintenance of marketing collaterals, such as marketing brochures, flyers, and web and digital messaging and direct marketing
Coordinates all necessary training and communications with internal and external cross-functional partners to ensure seamless program updates and rollout to field
Manages marketing/advertising/communication efforts aimed at channel partners
Prepares reports and presentations on project results and makes recommendations to management.
A Bachelors degree preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
A minimum of 6 years of related experience
Knowledge and application of English grammar and strong composition, editing and proofreading skills.
Detail orientation, advanced analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate business processes and recommend effective solutions
Advanced organizational/time management and project management skills and multi-tasking abilities. Knowledge of health care industry issues preferred
Knowledge of and experience in marketing tactics and approaches including direct marketing, digital and web/on-line
Salesforce experience and experience with specifically lean generation programs preferred
PC literacy required; MSOffice skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
