We’re currently looking for a new addition to our staff in north Seattle. We need a friendly and engaging team player with a positive attitude who will work to support others. The position requires a desire to work in a collaborative small office setting and wear many hats from day to day. Keen familiarity with our client demographic (experienced and educated up-market travelers) is desired as well as an appreciation for the highest level of client service standards.
The Marketing and Sales Associate works closely with the Marketing Director in support of company sales and profitability and provides administrative support to destination Program Directors across all regions of the world. Experience in content administration, marketing concepts and the travel industry is preferred.
SUMMARY OF PRIMARY DUTIES
• MARKETING AND SALES SUPPORT Provide sales and marketing support to facilitate professional and personal customer communications. Includes assistance with copywriting and editing, blogging and social media, content creation and website management, managing online listings, etc.
• CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT Work with the marketing director to increase repeat and referral business, past client management, and be proactive to secure new leads. Exercise strong written and verbal communication skills to refine brand message and voice across all platforms.
• PROGRAM DIRECTOR SUPPORT Support Program Directors across multiple destinations in destination management and sales including editing and formatting itineraries, updating web content, managing block space, etc.
• SPECIAL PROJECTS Work closely with management team and marketing director on special projects including the alumni relations, non-profit Travelers Conservation Trust, 30th Anniversary initiatives, CRM system development and updating, event and contest promotions, and other development and promotional projects.
