The Marketing Database Analyst is primarily accountable for providing operational reports and data sets based on the needs of end users. Utilizes report writing tools and data sources to design, create, and maintain reports for the organization and end user community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Create custom ad hoc reports or modify existing reports per specifications, utilizing reporting databases, tools, and other available systems as needed.
Consistently validate and ensure integrity across BSWH data systems when data testing is performed.
Meet with the project team and report consumers to understand their reporting needs. Engage end-users to tailor reports to better suit business and clinical needs.
Use Segment Builder to generate targeted lists for direct marketing campaigns.
·Incorporate data-driven insights to enhance the targeting and effectiveness of campaigns.
·Serve as data liaison for Marketing Operations in tools such as Amplitude Web reporting and Consumer Analytics
·Create visually engaging and informative reports and dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
·Share regular reports with key stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights.
Create design specifications for new reports.
Identify and validate the appropriate technological solutions for various reporting needs. Provide immediate notification to management as required to respond to issues and problems.
Review system upgrade documentation relating to reporting content and implement necessary changes to queries and reports.
Prepare clear and well-organized project-specific documentation to reflect methods used, caveats, etc., with sufficient detail to help comprehension and replication of the testing Maintains various records of daily activities and time spent relating to areas of responsibility and requests in a timely manner.
Help with ongoing activities as assigned (training, etc.)

SALARY
The pay range for this position is $26.00/hour (entry-level qualifications) and $38.00/hour (highly experienced) The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts, including primary keys, foreign keys, and joins
Ability to translate user requirements into functional and design specifications
Experience with report writing tools required, Crystal Reports preferred
Experience with the MS SQL Server environment preferred (Oracle, MySQL acceptable)Working knowledge of BSWH workflows with an expertise of the inputs/outputs from an end user and patient perspective preferred
Functional knowledge of the associated application preferred
Excellent testing, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
High sense of urgency with an ability to drive results
Ability to work unsupervised, exercise sound judgment, and exhibit proven attention to detail
Excellent mutual and business communication skills
PREFERENCES AND EQUIVALENCIES
Master's degree and 1 year of experience
Associate's degree and 5 years of experience
High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of experience
