The International Sign Association (ISA), recognized by the Council of Manufacturing Associations as a “Best Place to Work” in 2018, is seeking a project coordinator with strong organizational skills and a background in marketing to join our marketing and communications team. This person will provide project management on campaign development, strategic planning, and creative execution.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable saying “No,” enjoys a fast-paced environment, and can juggle many tasks and deadlines. The right person will be driven, detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills, a knowledge and passion for marketing, and a desire to support successful day-to-day operations of a dynamic, fast-paced marketing team.
The project coordinator will be a central point of contact and will interact with all ISA subject matter experts to keep projects on track, on time and on budget. In their role, they will coordinate workflows, project deadlines and schedules to support the marketing and communications team and each of the association’s departments. If challenges arise, they will be able to troubleshoot a solution and have the confidence and independence to find and offer acceptable solutions.
This candidate will take ownership of several tasks within the department, including email formatting and distribution, list work, website edits, social media postings, and results tracking. They will also contribute to creative development via brainstorming, concept reviews and quality control process.

Actively participated in marketing brainstorming and strategy sessions, never settling in your quest to grow and develop.
Provide marketing project coordination.
Ensure quality control for design assets and marketing materials as well as task tracking and metrics reporting.
Work collaboratively with team members and multiple stakeholders regarding quantity and timing of projects, campaigns, and initiative.
Effectively resolve project issues and escalations by presenting solutions and acknowledging roadblocks.
Leverage project management tool, Smartsheet, to create detailed schedules/plans, identifying the tasks needed to successfully achieve project success and deadlines for multiple projects, while also being able to manage expectations of potential new projects and/or tasks.
Work with Event Marketing Manager and Communications Manager on Hubspot, a marketing automation platform, to ensure all content is promoted in a timely manner.
Work with Event Marketing Manager and Communications Manager to establish and track metrics for all efforts. These metrics will be used in planning and evaluating current and potential projects.
Leverage social media software tool, Sprout Social, to post and monitor social media engagement across all platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Collaborate with marketing and communications team to identify relevant and innovative technologies, social networks, tools and digital marketing strategies to improve ISA’s marketing and communications efforts.
Assist with third-party vendor project schedules, such as design, video, and other projects to ensure projects are executed in a timely manner.
Assist with managing barter/paid media agreements, as well as make recommendations for partnership improvements.
Assist with any additional marketing duties and/or tasks as needed to help support the department.
A minimum 1-2 years of marketing and project management experience is required and may include direct coursework from earning a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, or project management.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent project management and organization skills. Ability to prioritize large volumes of projects and effectively see them through to conclusion, as well as managing expectations across departments for marketing campaigns.
Experience with using cross-channel campaign tracking for planning, implementation & quality control to drive strategy, tactics, etc.
Ability to think strategically, “connect the dots” and excel at driving the organization forward.
HTML, website/CMS editing.
Excellent communication, marketing and interpersonal skills, including phone etiquette and verbal and written communications.
Excellent relationship-building skills for forging conversations and collaboration with staff and vendors.
Experience with Salesforce, SmartSheet (or other project management software), Sprout Social, all key social channels, preferred.
Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to travel domestically occasionally, including weekends.
