The George Mason University Office of Integrated Enrollment Marketing invites applications for a Marketing Coordinator. Integrated Enrollment Marketing (IEM) strives to create, maintain, execute and assess marketing and communications plans to support and enhance the recruitment, admission, and enrollment of new students to the university.
Responsibilities: The Enrollment Marketing Traffic Manager supports the Integrated Enrollment Marketing office by managing the sending of all email and text communications, creating dashboards to determine marketing plan performance, and assists in troubleshooting CRM communication data issues. This position will also be responsible for coding the student admissions portal. The Traffic Manager will work closely with the Undergraduate Admissions Technical Team, Graduate Admissions Technical Team, and Enrollment Management teams in order to troubleshoot technical communications questions or concerns within the CRM, Salesforce. The Traffic Manager will be tasked with developing reports that feed dashboards to detail the success of the IEM marketing plans. The Traffic Manager will serve as a contact to colleges and departments across the university to report on communication performance. This position is an integral role on the IEM team and requires keen attention to detail, the ability to provide and research best practices in regards to data, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while also being able to change prioritization quickly if needed.
Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent combination of education and experience;
Experience that demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects, make quick judgment decisions, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines;
Demonstrated experience in project management, executing communication campaigns, or data reporting.
Demonstrated high degree of independence and initiative;
Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively on a team;
Experience writing data reports;
Knowledge of higher education admissions cycles;
Experience working within a CRM.
