The Social Media Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media marketing strategy for Nemours that includes strategies for brand development, promotion, conversion and engagement. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for engaging with different audiences and have deep expertise in managing both paid and organic social campaigns across multiple platforms. Additionally, this person will have command of social media best practices and understand how to effectively reach and engage digital audiences.
The preferred location for this opening is at our Home Office in Jacksonville. We are willing to accept applicants in Orlando, Florida or Wilmington, Delaware.
Social Media Channel Management: Build and manage the day-to-day messaging, monitoring, and moderation of Nemours’ social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and additional channels as needed
Content Strategy & Development: Curate and create shareable content appropriate for specific social networks aligned to overall strategy in an effort to increase brand awareness, and engage with current and prospective consumers
Campaign Performance: Define relevant KPI’s and actively monitor and report on the performance of social media platforms
Lead Generation and A/B Testing: Actively test channels, messaging, new copy, audiences, creative, and landing pages to increase ROI and drive incremental conversions
Social Media Optimization & Analytics: Implement best practices for social listening, uploading, tagging, reporting, and optimization of channels
Social Media Policies: Establish policies and procedures for the enterprise with respect to social media best practices and customer service and formalize processes for responding to posts across all social media channels
Team & Enterprise Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and communications colleagues and colleagues in the Center for Healthcare Delivery and Innovation (CHDI) group and collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure alignment with Nemours initiatives.
BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
3-5 years of driving social media management for a brand preferably in the healthcare sector
Experience with Sprinklr and/or Hootsuite to manage campaign execution and reporting
Experience with Facebook Business Manager to manage paid campaigns
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Sound editorial judgment with an informed POV on content that will appeal to the brand demographics
A passion for storytelling through multiple formats, both visual and written
Active personal profiles on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and other platforms
Well-organized, self-directed and with excellent communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva or Photography skills a big plus
