The American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) seeks a creative, flexible, and detail-oriented full-time membership and marketing coordinator with two+ years of non-profit or association management experience (specifically membership, marketing or communications related). The ideal candidate is mission driven, self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will bring outstanding writing skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Update and maintain website content for the AUGS physician and patient websites (www.augs.org; www.voicesforpfd.org). Ensure website standards and corporate style guide is followed.
Develop creative concepts and translate them into succinct and effective copy for email, web and print marketing efforts for educational programs and membership benefits.
Track and report on analytics of all communications vehicles (website, newsletters, email, social media) to take steps to improve the organization’s overall communication and marketing plans.
Working with the Marketing Director to develop and implement an annual social media strategy across all platforms.
Oversee the Society’s weekly newsletter in partnership with MultiView.
Work across departments to maintain annual marketing and communication calendar and assist in implementation of tactics as needed.
Work with the Director on the annual recruitment and retention membership campaign with preparation of dues invoices and collateral as needed.
Oversee and manage the ongoing call for volunteers’ process
Manage the membership and volunteer recognition efforts
Manage AUGS Jobs site, including supporting customers in posting jobs and invoicing.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field
Familiarity and/or interest in website content editing and database management
Experience with graphic design and video production preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time, and reprioritize as necessary
Able to thrive in a small staff, team environment
Knowledge of website analytics tools like Google Analytics or Webtrends.
Experience with Informz/RealMagnet bulk email system, iTunes podcasting, Vimeo, and Adobe Photoshop preferred.
