This position is at the Institute for Learning (IFL) at the Learning Research and Development Center (LRDC), a multi-disciplinary center for research to advance the science of learning by bringing together leading researchers in the cognitive, social, and educational sciences. IFL is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Marketing and Administrative Coordinator.
This position will be the creative designer, web administrator, and assistant to the executive director and co-directors for the Institute for Learning (IFL), located in the Learning Research & Development Center. The candidate will be maintain a close relationship with the Communications / Marketing Director and is responsible for designing print and digital materials for products and services including flyers, brochures, and event websites. This position will be the primary contact for coordinating all marketing materials developed by communications director, the executive director, and working teams as required. The successful candidate must have skills in learning management systems, online billing and collaborative software.
The successful candidate will also be expected to have advanced skill in Adobe products, specifically In-Design and Photoshop; as well as excellent written and oral communication, strong interpersonal skills; the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work independently. In addition, the position will be expected to support IFL leadership in a range of administrative capacities including scheduling meetings, reserving and preparing meeting spaces, and corresponding with other departments. Required qualifications include a baccalaureate degree in a relevant field, two to four years related work experience; must have experience as a staff member in an office environment; must be able to function professionally and confidentially in a fast-paced environment.
