The Coordinator serves as lead position in the maintenance and content of the Titusville Educational and Training Hub website, including creating marketing content and assuring the site is being used to its fullest potential with regards to student recruitment and engagement with community and business partners. Serves as the point of contact for internal constituents and works with them to design and implement changes and new features to meet various department and Hub needs. Provide regular and/or coordinates coverage of hub events to local and regional media, and maintain close connections to community. Prepare news releases, special features, promotional and publicity materials for the Hub to gain local and regional awareness. Keep a consistent and engaging social media presence to connect, increase engagement and generate a positive image with the Hub's audiences. The coordinator must be able to maintain a high level of accountability/quality to maintain positive image of the institution and be able to respond to a wide range of people effectively and diplomatically.
Bachelor's degree in a communications-related discipline such as journalism, communications, broadcast communications, writing, English or public relations. Must have experience with web editing and content creation. Proficiency in graphics editing tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills including proofing and editing. Knowledge of layout and design helpful. Some professional experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat is preferred.
