The Marketing and Communications Specialist provides support to Marketing and Communications and Physician Relations. This includes coordinating development and placement of traditional and digital media; and coordinating design, content development, proofing process and implementation of marketing plan tactics. The Regional Medical Center is conveniently located in Orangeburg, SC within one hour of Columbia, SC and one and-a-half hours from Charleston, SC.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Coordinates development and execution of marketing plan tactics and assigned projects
Develops and coordinates placement of content for traditional and digital advertising, collateral, web, and social media.
Develops and maintains annual marketing plan calendar including media placement and all marketing and communication activities
Tracks all advertising placement and expenditures; ensures ads run as scheduled
Tracks marketing campaign performance and budget; prepares reports as needed
Coordinates production, placement and distribution of signage and collateral
Updates web site as needed and monitors web site and landing page activity using Google Analytics; develops and maintains campaign dashboards
Develops social media calendar and posts content to social media channels
Coordinates direct mail programs including mailing list procurement, printing and mailing
Coordinates development of physician relations collateral
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five (5) years of experience in a corporate marketing communications department. Google Analytics and digital media experience desired. Strong communication and proof reading skills. Strategic marketing experience desired. Healthcare marketing experience a plus.
