The Digital Marketing Specialist is charged with assisting in the creation, management, and delivery of digital marketing campaigns for NACUBO and its regional affiliates. The incumbent will play a vital role in marketing NACUBO programs and services, as well as its regions. The incumbent will create, produce, and deploy marketing eblasts using an email software system and an association management database to generate comprehensive lists for targeted message distribution. The Specialist will track campaign performance and impact and assist in identifying strategies for increased effectiveness. NACUBO produces a high volume of eblasts each week, and the Digital Marketing Specialist must be able to effectively manage multiple campaigns in various stages of development, while producing high-quality work.
This position reports to the Director of Marketing and will be part of a marketing team.

1. Creates visually appealing marketing eblasts for NACUBO and regional associations. 2. Builds and deploys error free marketing eblasts using email marketing software system (e.g., HighRoad/Adestra or equivalent). 3. Maintains image files for electronic communications. 4. Ensures sponsor logos for marketing email campaigns are accurate. 5. Proofreads all messages for clarity, grammar, spelling, and bad links. 6. Conducts thorough message testing with marketing team and internal clients for approval before deployment. 7. Creates targeted distribution lists for message dissemination using the association management database (netFORUM). 8. Tracks and monitors campaign performance and generates analytical reports to internal clients. 9. This position is not responsible for drafting the content for the eblasts. However, there is room to add these kinds of responsibilities if there is interest (other job responsibilities would be maintained). 10. This position is not responsible for managing NACUBO’s social media channels. However, there is room to add these kinds of responsibilities if there is interest (other job responsibilities would be maintained). 11. This position is not responsible for designing the graphical elements of NACUBO’s eblasts. However, basic knowledge of design manipulation (resizing, etc.) is preferred. In addition, there is room to add these kinds of responsibilities if there is interest (other job responsibilities would be maintained). 12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Creative: Ability to build visually appealing email marketing campaigns that follow email marketing best practices. 4. This position works in a professional office environment. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers. This position works in a climate-controlled environment, but internal office temperatures may fluctuate.
1. Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds occasionally. Sitting most of the time and walking and standing are required occasionally. 2. To perform the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee may frequently be required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to type, handle or feel, and reach with arms and hands.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time regular position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, however, some out of the area travel and overnight should be expected.

1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, or related field, required. 2. Minimum three to five years’ experience in marketing, preferably in an association environment. 3. Skilled in digital content distribution. 4. Demonstrated experience with graphics tools such as Adobe, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Note: graphic design experience preferred. 5. Highly proficient in email marketing software systems (i.e., HighRoad/Adestra or equivalent), including list creation and audience segmentation. 6. Skilled in association management software; netFORUM experience strongly preferred. 7. Proficient web knowledge including use of a CMS and HTML. 8. Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail. 9. Strong time management skills. 10. Excellent oral communication skills. 11. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel. 12.
