Under the direction of the Departmental Administrator, the Marketing/Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the promotion and outreach of the ColumbiaDoctors/NewYork-Presbtyerian Imaging (CDNYPI) practice and the Kreitchman PET Center.
Performs and/or directs the promotional and marketing activities for all outpatient practices.
Handles all personnel activities, assigns work assignments, and supervises all marketing staff members in the PET Center and CDNYPI practice.
Assesses competency of marketing staff members; Conducts marketing staff meetings; Plans and implements in-service training.
Directs and/or provides outreach services to potential referring physician offices in the tri-state area including telephone contact, on-site visits, and presentation of marketing and informational materials.
Assesses satisfaction of referring physicians and patients; recommends and implements changes based upon feedback. Prepares monthly reports as required.
Participates in development of marketing strategy; Participates in development of promotional materials; Maintains up-to- date knowledge of market and competitors.
Coordinates and/or participates in development and presentation of physician seminars, continuing education materials, etc.
Attends professional meetings as needed to reinforce outreach efforts.
Coordinates and/or conducts patient education programs as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus four years of related radiology experience.
Three years of marketing or outreach experience. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in customer service. Must be very well organized and attentive to detail.
