The assistant director of creative communications is the primary graphic designer for the UT System. The position plays a key role in promoting the mission and statewide impact of the UT System through highly visible and impactful designs, marketing materials, and brand executions ranging from logos to multi-page brochures to billboards. This position is responsible for determining the creative direction and adherence to brand guidelines of all design work created on behalf of the Office of the President, Board of Trustees, and all divisions within the UT System Administration.
Additionally, the associate director will support a culture of engagement and belonging by treating others with dignity and respect at all times and by exhibiting conduct that reflects a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The successful candidate will respectfully communicate and cooperate with all employees and will complete all required diversity awareness training to enhance knowledge and eradicate racism in the workplace.
