Summary The Iowa State University Athletics Department is seeking hard working, responsible, motivated candidates for an entry-level, post-graduate associate position supporting Athletics Marketing operations. This position will receive exposure to professional aspects of collegiate athletics marketing
Example of Duties â¢ Serves as lead in marketing and promotion of assigned sport(s). â¢ Assists with planning and implementing game day production with the focus on increasing attendance and awareness. â¢ Oversees social media efforts for assigned areas. â¢ Assists with or oversees game day marketing operations and activities.
â¢ Researches trends, recommends ideas, gathers and analyzes information.
â¢ Learns and adheres to NCAA, Big12, and university policies and procedures.
The ideal candidates should have creativity and marketing/promotion skills; proficient in use social media; ability to plan, multi-task, and problem solve; good communication skills; be committed to customer service and fan experience.Â Â Â Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse clientele. This position works primarily daytime office hours but requires the ability to work at assigned evening and weekend events.
Structured similar to a post-grad internship. Monthly stipend of $1,950; eligible for overtime pay; receives paid time off; full benefits package.
