Group Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition.
Work closely with other teams within GSMC and the bank, crafting complex content marketing strategies that span across a wide range of comms touchpoints, rolled out over several months.
Delivery right composition of editorial, creative and amplification elements will be key to tell stories about purpose, sustainability, social impact and digital transformation.
Drive projects with an investigative journalist approach and a social-first treatment in order to produce weekly content formats with powerful storytelling that accelerate audience growth.
Highly experienced with video production for social & digital platforms, you will create content assets like articles and design amplification strategies based on data-driven insights.
Oversee production processes from an editorial point of view to ensure brand massages are communicated effectively.
Finding ways to tell stories more creatively by tailoring for different audiences (internal and external) will be essential to succeeding in this role.
This includes exploring and experimenting with new communication tools and channels to connect with these audiences. Ensuring quality and consistency in materials produced and published.
Diploma qualifications from polytechnics/ film & media/ advertising/marketing institutes. Candidates with degree in journalism or digital broadcast media a plus.
3-5 years' experience in a news, broadcasting, publishing or other digital media. Newsroom experience or previous in-house content strategist role a plus.
Proven work experience and skills in end-to-end creative content production and online publishing - from ideation to amplification.
Article and/or project portfolio that showcases your writing style and ability to craft transmedia stories.
Passionate about and skilful in delivering engaging and relatable (audio-visual) storytelling through digital media that speaks directly to viewers/readers.
Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and occasionally at night, on weekends and public holidays if required.
Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to motivate and work cooperatively with others, at all levels.
