Reporting to the Director, Development and Alumnae Communications, the Marketing Cloud Administrator will work closely with all Development and Alumnae Relations teams in developing solutions to ensure the department is utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud—including associated and integrated applications—effectively and fully. This position will ensure that the platform is fit for purpose, anticipating the future needs of the team, and will have a helicopter view of all marketing campaigns in progress. The Marketing Cloud Administrator will be responsible for all technical aspects of Marketing Cloud, including: managing business org structure; ensuring seamless systems integrations (within the Salesforce environment as well as with 3rd party apps); creating and maintaining data extensions, segmentation, and subscribers; developing and supporting journeys/lifecycle campaigns utilizing Journey Builder, strategizing and configuring email templates and dynamic content, gathering reports and performing analysis, leading user management and training. The Developer will work closely with the Senior Salesforce Systems Administrator, the Business Analytics team, and IT to ensure that Marketing Cloud is seamlessly synced with College systems.

Required Qualification Summary:
● Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field
● 2+ years previous Marketing Cloud experience, including Community Cloud and Journey Builder
● Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certifications including Email Specialist and Marketing Cloud Administrator
● Proficiency in HTML, AMPscript, and SQL
● Strong understanding of relational databases and marketing and communications
● Demonstrative success with Marketing Cloud integration projects
Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async
