Renbrook School (West Hartford, CT), an independent school for children in Preschool to Grade 8, seeks an Admission and Marketing Coordinator to fill a full-time position in the Admission Office.
As a valuable member of the Admission Office and in partnership with the Marketing and Communications Department, this position will both enhance and support the daily operations of both offices. The team member will report directly to the Director of Enrollment and Financial Aid and will work closely with the Director of Lower School Admission and the Director of Marketing and Communications.
The Admission and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for helping to attract and engage prospective students and establish and maintain valuable relationships with all constituents of the Renbrook community – current families, prospective families, and faculty and staff. This person will help the team accomplish this by telling the school’s story through digital marketing and social media.
This position requires strong technical, time management, and organizational skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to navigate database systems and technology is extremely important in this role.
Essential duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Manage and maintain the admission database (Blackbaud)
- Manage and track inquiries across the candidate life cycle in both the admission database and other programs including Excel
- Generate admission reports as needed by the Director of Enrollment and Financial Aid
- Support all phases and components of the annual re-enrollment process by building enrollment contracts and partnering with the Business Office and IT Department throughout the re-enrollment season
- Responsible for managing various digital initiatives including social media: manage, optimize, and grow the Renbrook School presence across social media channels, including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Proactively brainstorm, identify, and execute creative social media campaigns
- Work closely with the admission team to create content for admission and marketing materials, handle mailings, manage office supplies, and complete other related duties as needed
- Maintain, update, and enhance the admission content of the website and support the Director of Marketing and Communications with various other website related tasks
- Assist with on-campus visitors and play a role in admission and retention related events
- Coordinate prospective family visits, tours, and admission assessments and tour a family or administer the admission assessment as needed

Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- The ideal candidate will have experience in an independent school setting
