WashREIT is a publicly traded company transitioning from a diversified REIT into a pure multifamily REIT and expanding from the DC metropolitan area into Southeastern markets. We’re growing for sure!
To support this transition, we have created a new position for a Marketing Manager responsible for marketing and resident engagement programs across our portfolio of properties.
You are a good fit if you have had progressively more responsibilities for in B2C marketing, have a strong foundational knowledge of branding, campaign strategy, and data-driven decision making. In this role, you will be directly supporting our leasing teams and addressing resident and prospect needs: a customer service-focused approach is essential.
In this role, you will be working a flexible 3/2 (office/remote) hybrid schedule.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Property Marketing
- Partner with regional and community managers to develop, implement and manage end-to-end marketing programs and campaigns to support corporate initiatives and company-wide marketing programs, as assigned, including both consumer-facing and employee-facing campaigns.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners in the areas of PPC, website maintenance and SEO, social media content and advertising, internet listing services, virtual leasing, and resident resources.
- Create, monitor, manage, and analyze all community marketing/advertising budgets and performance for assigned communities, with a focus on improved strategy, best practices and innovation for assigned portfolio of properties.
- Identify opportunities for improvement based on the customer lifecycle and feedback from community teams and residents.
- Train community teams on best practices, relevant platforms, and customer service expectations as relevant.
- Manage third party partners by driving for both performance and efficiency. Assess new partner opportunities as needs or opportunities arise.
- Collaborate with the team to provide recommendations that further enhance production project efficiencies, monthly media acquisition and inventory processes.
Corporate Marketing
- Research, gathering and copywriting pertinent to corporate award submittals. Source award opportunities and maintain awards chart.
Internal Communications
- Assists in developing internal communications and engagement campaigns
- Manages internal communications platform including mobile app and intranet
- Drafts internal communications content as needed
- Actively promotes cross-sharing of best practices across property teams through internal comms platforms
- Progressively more responsible experience in B2C marketing management and strategy.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational management skills, including strong interpersonal skills.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills including a capacity to effectively present to a variety of audiences, summarize reporting, and make solid recommendations to optimize marketing campaigns.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM software, Mailchimp, WordPress, social media platforms, and other creative software.
- Functional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Familiarity with WordPress and other web development platforms (e.g. Square Space, Wix)
- Yardi experience a strong plus.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to champion through daily interactions.
