Assist in the planning and execution of marketing responsibilities surrounding 24 varsity sports at the University of Nebraska Athletic Department. Conduct research of new advertising and marketing opportunities to drive student attendance. Design and implement student email marketing campaigns. Serve as liaison to the Iron N student group. Provide direct supervision of 12-14 marketing student interns including hiring and training. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion. Long, irregular hours (including requirements to work weekend and nights) will apply especially through the football season and during other assigned sports.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, sports management or related field plus one (1) year of post-graduate sports marketing experience. Work history will show knowledge of computer design programs needed, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator). Excellent communication skills.
Ideal candidate will have sports marketing specific experience in a Power 5 collegiate athletic department. Men's or Women's Basketball scripting and production experience. Prefer programming skills and knowledge of Paciolan Ticket Systems and Eloqua Email System
