Description of Work:
Position will be responsible for developing the processes and procedures for an integrated campus-wide recruitment strategy with ASEM leadership group, which includes the Directors of Admissions, OSFA, NSE, CRM and OUR. The position will develop the strategic process and co-implement them with EVC leadership across campus colleges and enrollment units to ensure that the campus is aligned in the goals, strategy and tactics outlined in the N2025 strategic plan. This position will also entail the strategic development and execution of marketing and communication to support the university's recruitment goals. The position will primarily develop and support the strategic initiatives of Academic Services and Enrollment Management (ASEM), which includes the Offices of Admissions, Husker Hub, Scholarships & Financial Aid, and University Registrar, New Student Enrollment and the Nebraska College Preparatory Academy. Pursuant to those goals, position will oversee the ASEM marketing and communications team who will be primarily responsible for the execution of ASEM recruitment strategies. More broadly, this position will support the development of integrated recruitment marketing strategies for Graduate Studies, the College of Law and the academic colleges. Additionally, position will work to ensure a consistent communication approach as students' transition from prospective to enrolled students. Position will be an integral part of university-wide communication and marketing team to drive the integration of recruitment marketing strategies into all relevant communications from the university. Position will assist in creation and management of university's brand by connecting all strategic recruitment objectives to the overall university marketing and communication strategy.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, journalism, marketing, communication or public relations plus more than 10 years of progressively responsible and directly related experience in any combination of strategic process development, marketing, communications or public relations in which experience demonstrates abilities in public relations and organizational communication required. Knowledge of higher education, recruitment, fundraising, project management, strategic communication, public relations and/or recruitment/marketing activities necessary. Experience with youth marketing. Must have excellent written communication, presentation skills, interpersonal and organizational skill. Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail essential. Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM). Oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in business. Experience working with senior leaders in a large and complex organization strongly preferred. Knowledge of university culture and stakeholders desirable. Copywriting skills.Knowledge of student recruitment in higher education
Posted Salary: $115,000/yr. minimum
