Position Details:
Summary of Duties:
The Marketing and Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing and operations for the Engineering and Technology Management program. As the manager of ETM marketing, the position is responsible for developing timely, creative, data-informed marketing strategies that support the WSU brand while bolstering awareness of the ETM program. As the manager of departmental operations, the position is responsible for business administrative support, financial reporting, data management, and employee supervision. Represents the Program Director, as required.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a field related to the functional managerial area which has included at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- Demonstrated computer software skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Creative Suite or other image editing software, and familiarity with database management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in marketing, business administration, strategic communications, or other relevant field.
- Previous experience in higher education.
