Niagara County Community College is seeking a part-time Website Marketing Specialist position reporting to the Director of Public Relations and Event Management.
The Website Marketing Specialist is responsible for administering Niagara County Community College's website including the development and management of functionality, content strategy and user experience. This position will cultivate the website to promote the College's brand, improve visitor engagement, conversion rates and deliver effective marketing strategies to help grow student enrollment and further progress the College's strategic plan. In addition, the Website Marketing Specialist will manage related programs including SEO, as well as the execution and analysis of site performance and online traffic. This position will also assist in updating, maintaining, troubleshooting and expanding content on website projects. Will also be responsible for the website content strategy and working with internal creative partners to execute, therefore it is critically important that the incumbent understands how to navigate digital trends and technology to support business goals and drive results.
This position will have flexible hours up to 20 hours per week.

Typical Work Activities:
Collaborate with staff and faculty to create and update the College's webpages
Oversee website design, ensure accuracy and simple navigation
Conduct monthly maintenance checks on plugins, etc.
Ensure website is in compliance with accessibility guidelines
Train new users of the college on Word Press when necessary
Collaborate with graphic designers to utilize digital images, slide shows, videos and other media on website
Compile analytic reports; track site statistics using Google Analytics and other analytics products; compare websites against goals; organize, maintain and archive project files and assets; field inquiries about the website from both internal and external users.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Public Relations and Event Management
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations or related field including multimedia, computer science, web design etc. AND
Two years-experience in web development, project management and web-based writing/editing
Two years of experience in WordPress
Six years of experience in web development and implementation and/or maintaining complex web/multimedia sites
Two years of WordPress experience
