The Search Engine Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing all paid search campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing, as well as other search and display marketing engines. The SEM specialist will effectively manage the paid search budget and work with SEO and Marketing team in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic and customers.
The annual base salary range for this position is $81,120- $133,010. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidateâs work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations
Minimum Education:â¢BS/MS degree in Marketing or a quantitative, test-driven fieldMinimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢3-5 years of SEM experienceâ¢Proven SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bingâ¢Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisitionâ¢Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketingâ¢In-depth experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)â¢Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)â¢Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reportsâ¢Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experimentsâ¢Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraintsâ¢Proven SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bingâ¢Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisitionâ¢Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketingRequired License/Certification:â¢Fire and Safety Certification.
