The Specialist, Web & Marketing (USPI) for the Tenet Strategic Marketing Group (TSMG) will be assisting in efficiently maintaining an essential element of the patient experience: a mobile-first website and related online resources for USPI. As part of a collaborative and fast-paced web team, this position will provide front-end development and content updates for Tenet�s ambulatory surgery centers and surgical hospitals. In addition, this position will support all marketing needs for the USPI organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Websites
- Provide excellent support for Tenet healthcare marketers� and communications teams� requests to apply new or updated content to websites.
- Support integration of third-party tools into web properties
- Proactively work with the team to ensure all web properties maintain the highest standards of quality, ethics, and legal compliance (including HIPAA and American Disabilities Act)
- Confirm, recommend, and execute SEO best practices are applied to every content update, from content to coding
- Support integrations between technical platforms, to ensure high quality and efficiency
- Provide content editing and graphic design support to efficiently improve deliverables
- Recommend solutions for creating a convenient and enjoyable mobile-first user experience
Administration & Marketing
- Assist with various marketing activities and project management
- Partner with local USPI facilities to support all marketing material needs and requests. Work collaboratively with marketing cross functional teams to complete all marketing requests.
- Compile USPI competitive marketing assets, including web content, and make recommendations to more effectively drive marketing messaging and tactics.
- Monitor results of marketing assets and channels to identify best practices and share out as needed across field marketing teams.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Bachelor�s Degree preferred (ideally in Web Development or Digital Marketing)
- 1-3 years related experience
- Basic understanding of Adobe creative tools like Photoshop or InDesign
- Prefer Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Prefer experience managing digital marketing campaigns and related landing pages
- Prefer experience creating efficient solutions for managing multiple consumer websites
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Extreme attention to detail and focus on zero-defect execution
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, HTML5, with knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery
- Understanding of best practices in front-end development for UX, SEO and web analytics
- Strong interest in exploring and applying modern day media platforms and the tools used to engage consumers
- Passion for creating processes and website systems better, faster, more efficient
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across all areas and levels of the company
