RE+ Events is looking for a motivated marketing professional who has a keen understanding of marketing principles and the ability to implement high-performing campaigns. A successful candidate will have create strong client relationships with RE+ partners through thoughtful, well-written, and impactful marketing strategies.
The Marketing Manager will play a dual role at RE+ Events managing the communications and marketing functions of RE+ Events association clients to attract new members and increase retention, and act as marketing lead for RE+ International Events, including Electricity Transformation Canada. The Marketing Manager will work on the RE+ Events Marketing team and report to the Sr. Director of Marketing. Core functions include creating, managing, and distributing marketing materials, maintaining the websites, social media management, media relations, and webinar management.
International Event Marketing (80% of job)
- Marketing lead for international events, including Electricity Transformation Canada, Solar + Storage Espana, and other international events
- Create and implement event go-to-market campaigns to increase audience portfolio, attract attendees and support exhibitor/sponsor acquisition through multi-channel efforts
- Marketing campaigns include paid and organic advertising through identified publications, remarketing, emails, and social media
- Work closely with external partners to ensure consistent and clear marketing across all channels
- Find and cross-market association and partner initiatives with RE+ Events
- Support RE+ 2022 and other regional programs as needed
Association/Partner Marketing (20% of job)
- Works Deputy Director of Partner Events & Membership for RE+ Events to assess current messaging, materials, and channels to reach existing and potential members
- Develop and execute an integrated marketing communication strategy for the programs, products, and services offered
- Communicate value proposition to members and stakeholders
- Manage the strategy and messaging related to social media, website, e-mail, and direct mail channels
- Create graphics and content for social media across divisions and serve as an adviser to divisions on social media strategies and implementation.
- Measure and report success of marketing efforts to drive engagement, improvements
- Point person for website management
- Manage webinar schedule
- Cross-market association at RE+ Events
- Create a monthly campaign update for each client to assess efficacy of marketing strategy
