The Marketing Department at NYU Stern School of Business will be recruiting for two positions starting in academic year 2023-2024.
These two positions are at the Associate or Full Professor tenured level with a specialization in Consumer Behavior. The candidates must possess a proven track record of publication in top journal outlets, as well as a history of working with PhD students.
Located in New York City, the Stern Marketing Department is ranked as one of the top departments in the world based on research productivity. Our faculty currently consists of 26 full-time faculty members from all over the world with multiple areas of expertise including consumer behavior, market research, advertising, pricing, new product development, brand planning, high-tech marketing, international marketing, and marketing in interactive environments.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $177,000 - $247,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
Applicants for the tenured associate or full professor positions must have a PhD in Marketing or Psychology, a proven track record of publishing in top journals, evidence of working with PhD students, and evidence of internal and external administrative service to their department, school, university and the field. Candidates should have been on the tenure track for at least six years, and are expected to be productive researchers and effective teachers at undergraduate, MBA and PhD levels.
