This position offers a hybrid work schedule for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY. Residence must be within Cincinnati Tri-State area with reasonable distance to UC Main Campus to have ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.
Job Overview
Create and lead research to better understand potential student needs and desires.
Essential Functions
- Lead the market research activities for prospective online programs.
- Analyze, synthesize, develop competitive assessments, and make recommendations about the market landscape for potential new programs. Prepare new programs for marketing launch.
- Consult with Online Marketing Managers on new program launches to develop the initial marketing strategies.
- Develop an understanding of current students and current programs to identify program differentiators. Assess why students chose UC Online.
- Assist Online Marketing Managers to refine potential student targeting.
- Develop and maintain prospective student personas, lifecycle management and brand equity. Create personas for UC Online and assist with taking these personas to the program level.
- Lead ad hoc research.
- Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree
- Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
Two (2) years of experience in market research.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
