Practice Hospitality is seeking a hands-on senior marketing manager to join the commercial team at one of Lodging Magazine’s “management companies to watch” and drive revenue and market share results for an expanding portfolio of award-winning, exceptionally designed and concepted, lifestyle hotels located in the most exciting markets in the nation. Fully remote, great opportunity for growth.
Job Role
As a core member of the Practice’s integrated commercial team of marketing, revenue management, and sales, the senior marketing manager plans and executes marketing functions for a portfolio of hotels in the development, pre-opening, and operating stages and a growing hotel management company. This person collaborates closely with commercial directors and executives across the organization from hotels to headquarters.

Responsibilities
- Strategy, Communication, and Reporting
- Plan, execute, measure, and communicate marketing campaign commercial performance (production and spend) to stakeholders: hotel teams, management company, and hotel ownership.
- Plan, write, and execute marketing plans for hotels and management company to include spend budgeting, forecasting, and management.
- Plan, communicate, deploy, and support marketing initiatives, guest communications, and collateral for hotel teams to execute and deploy.
- Ecommerce and Media: Owned, Paid, Earned
- Manage website development and marketing agencies for website performance from development to enhancements.
- Plan, write, and publish website copy and merchandising.
- Manage marketing agencies for owned, paid, and earned media: website, email, social, messaging, print, radio, out of home, etc.
- Media Relations
- Manage media visits, media inquiries, and pitch press: local, regional, and national.
- Create and maintain all press materials: releases, fact sheets, media alerts, photos.
- Creative
- Copywrite materials and content across a variety of platforms and channels.
- Collaborate and direct graphic design partners with brand standards.
- Manage on-site photoshoot art direction and high profile brand activations.
- Social Media
- Manage community, influencer, collaboration, and promotions.
- Plan, post, and merchandise content and profiles
Requirements
- Three or more years’ experience in hotel, travel, or tourism marketing.
- One or more years’ experience in remote work.
- Bachelor’s degree; communications, marketing, or hospitality degree preferred.
- The ability to travel 15-20% of the time to hotels.
