The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the national nonprofit association established in 1863 that represents more than 100,000 veterinarians working in private and corporate practice, government, industry, academia, and uniformed services, is seeking a Marketing Campaign Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications team, located at our Headquarters office in Schaumburg, Illinois – a northwest suburb of Chicago. The AVMA’s mission is to lead the profession by advocating for its members and advancing the science and practice of veterinary medicine to improve animal and human health.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Brand Marketing, the Marketing Campaign Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of integrated campaign tactics across various marketing outlets. They will ensure that promotion of AVMA member benefits, services and products are featured throughout collective campaigns, supporting the overall Marcom strategy as related to member engagement, satisfaction, retention, and brand value. This role also serves as the team lead for executing paid advertising across multiple medial channels, tracking ad spend and reporting on advertising-related metrics, as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent qualifying work experience is required
- Minimum of 3-years of experience in marketing, association management or related field
- Enthusiastic, outgoing, and patient demeanor with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects across various departments
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office software packages
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work both independently and as a member of the team
- Ability to occasionally work outside of normal business hours; and travel on behalf of the Association, as needed
