Function
The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined marketing and branding strategy to support the mission and business growth of PrePass Safety Alliance and its brands.
Specific Responsibilities
- Develop organization marketing strategies, product plans, and campaign calendar based on the Alliance mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
- Manage the marketing budget, including campaign spending, outsourced vendor costs, and return on investment reporting.
- Lead, grow, and develop marketing team to deliver creative and effective work products that consistently exceed internal and external customer expectations.
- Provide effective oversight and accountability of marketing vendors to ensure compliance with agreements and budgets while delivering excellent work products.
- Manage and develop PrePass brand and messaging to ensure consistency and relevance with intended audiences.
- Develop and communicate clear, effective messaging campaigns that build awareness of transportation safety, efficiency, and compliance messages while communicating fleet benefits of PrePass offerings.
- Design and execute effective demand and lead generation programs to generate actionable sales inquiries and implement campaign analytics to measure and improve results.
- Manage content strategy incorporating blogs, email, whitepapers, webinars, video, infographics, testimonials, and landing pages to educate customers, prospects, industry and government agencies
- Proactively develop and increase marketing through channel partners and tactics in the market and expand the activities and strategies within our portfolio.
- Propose, develop, and execute new conversion channels, placements, and activities.
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategy, including websites, email, SEO, social media, and online advertising programs.
- Lead and manage industry event strategy coordinating with key partners, ensuring traffic, communication, and lead generation.
- Collaborate with sales team and leadership to develop an account based marketing program, sales materials, content, presentation designs, and support for customer retention programs and strategies.
- Support and execute comprehensive product launches and feature improvement announcements crafting messaging, communication material, and promotional campaigns.
- Develop KPI dashboards, compile competitive information, and analyze campaign data to measure and report marketing effectiveness.

- Hands-on experience in content marketing, branding, digital marketing, and lead and demand generation.
- Exceptional written communicator with the ability to write and copy-edit for a variety of platforms.
Education/Experience
- 7+ years of B2B marketing related work experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications
- Experience marketing within the commercial transportation industry
- Experience marketing B2C and B2B, including major/enterprise accounts
- Experience developing and marketing channel partner programs
- Experience marketing products and services producing more than $100 million annually
- Experience marketing and launching technology products
- Experience leading, and growing marketing teams
