MARKETING ASSOCIATE 2, MIT Professional Education (PE), to provide support in the creation of digital content for marketing campaigns, projects, events, presentations, social media, websites, and emails; maintain up-to-date printed and virtual marketing materials/assets; and handle invoicing and other activities. Responsibilities also include providing administrative support for the department; assisting with events, campaigns, and seasonal planning; maintaining, sourcing, and proofreading; formatting marketing materials; routine editing; compiling basic information and drafting routine communications/marketing content; and other duties as requested.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: high school diploma or its equivalent; five years of related work experience, preferably in a corporate, retail marketing, or customer-facing setting; in-depth knowledge of marketing, web, social media, and project management; attention to detail and accuracy; excellent organizational, decision-making, customer service, interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills; self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision; flexibility; discretion and good judgment with confidential matters; proficiency with Macs and Microsoft Office and willingness to learn other software/systems/tools as needed; and the ability to interact effectively and build productive and collaborative relationships with individuals at all levels. PREFERRED: bachelor's degree in a relevant field; and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Drupal, Salesforce, Pardot, web content management systems, marketing automation tools, project and social media management software, Slack, basic HTML, SEO, and Google Analytics. Working conditions: lifting weights of up to 20 pounds and transporting marketing materials and boxes to events and other locations.
Must be able to travel locally and work occasional evenings and weekends.
