The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the JHL team to create and maintain marketing data and materials, as well as assisting the Business Development process. In this position, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for handling outgoing proposals for new business, internal communications, marketing packages, award submissions, promotional item coordination, internal photography, and assistance in other marketing initiatives to support the Company’s business objectives.
ore Duties / Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of content for proposal (RFP) and qualification (RFQ) responses.
- Produce and assist with presentation materials and deliverables for internal purposes and project pursuits.
- Update and enter marketing information which includes, internal personnel resumes, external contact records, project records, and knowledge database.
- Produce and assist in creating unique marketing collateral for Business Development and internal departments ensuring corporate brand is maintained.
- Assist, coordinate and/or attend events such as trade shows, conferences, client events, and in-house planned activities.
- Assist in the preparation of award submissions, which includes writing and editing.
- Assist Communications Manager with press releases and social media.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or Advertising preferred.
- 2 - 4 years marketing communications or public relations experience preferred.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to relate to individuals at all levels within the organization.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite with an emphasis in InDesign.
- Ability to learn and use a variety of software, tools, and systems necessary to meet business needs.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize.
- Ability to maintain a positive outlook and adjust to a variety of working styles and personalities.
