Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

The Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University in Ames, IA is now accepting applications for a Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor to teach part-time at the undergraduate level within the Marketing Department. Primary courses to be taught include, but are not limited to: Sales Management. Additional responsibilities could include: participating in department service activities, as required, including advising undergraduate students.

The successful candidate will be able to deliver course materials through a number of delivery modes (online, hybrid, in-person). The position will start in Fall 2023.

The current teaching assignment is to teach up to two courses for one semester. Depending on demand, future semester requirements may be for up to four courses per semester for up to three years, with the possibility of renewal.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

-BA degree in Business or a related field
-Must meet the college’s faculty qualification standards for AACSB Accreditation

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience teaching university level marketing or related courses
-Sales experience of 10 years or more
