Overview
The NYU School of Professional Studies' Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications is seeking an individual to serve as the Senior Director of Enrollment Marketing to oversees all strategic, integrated digital demand generation campaigns to achieve NYU SPSâ™s enrollment goals across 21 graduate degrees, 17 undergraduates degrees and over 80 continuing education certificates and 1000+ continuing education courses. Programs offer both fully-online and in person/hybrid options. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer of the Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications , this position directly manages a team of eight full-time staff and various agency/vendor partners to develop detailed understanding of student segments and behavior; strategically manage approximately $7MM in marketing budget and execute cutting-edge multi-channel enrollment marketing campaigns. Collaborates closely with the Senior Director of Brand/Communications in SMC and Associate Dean and other leaders of Enrollment Services and Admissions while also building constructive relationships with Associate and Assistant deans of SPSâ™s academic divisions.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree with concentration and focus in Marketing if Bachelor's not in Marketing
Required Experience:
7+ years planning, executing and analyzing cutting edge integrated digital marketing campaigns to achieve measurable goals such as lead generation, revenue, or sales. Consumer, small business or higher education experience preferred. Also required are experience in strategic planning, project management, oversight, and analytics. Experience with staff supervision.
Preferred Experience:
3+ years Professional experience required if Masterâ™s Degree.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Experience planning and executing integrated digital marketing lead generation and lead conversion programs to achieve quantitative goals for enrollments in education programs or leads and sales in other sectors. Demonstrated track record of goal achievement and success driving continuous improvement in measures of marketing effectiveness like cost/lead, lead conversion rate, etc. Expertise in cutting-edge audience profiling techniques, modelling look-alike prospects, demographics and behavioral profiling, buyer journey analysis and persona development. Experience leading staff and agency/vendor partners to deliver timely, high-quality marketing campaigns. Ability to lead teams of staff and agency partners effectively and brings a demonstrated record of success and a drive to advance continual improvement in results while ensuring delivery of timely, highly-quality marketing campaigns consistent with and supportive of NYUâ™s and NYUâ™s School of Professional Studies brand platforms. Ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with a variety of important stakeholders. Excellent writing and organizational skills and strong detail orientation. Ability to meet multiple deadlines. Ability to generate creative ideas and work independently and collaboratively across organizational lines. Is equally versed in both the established and emerging digital marketing, web site optimization techniques, and the power of story-telling and content marketing. Can anticipate promising trends before they are accepted in the mainstream.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Higher education marketing experience helpful if candidate utilized advanced digital marketing tools and analytics to continuously improve results. Experience in a consumer or small business sector is preferable to roles supporting a business-to-business sales-force driven aquistion model. Knowledge and experience with best-practice marketing campaign planning tools, website SEO/CRO techniques, project management systems like ASANA in a marketing context, highly desirable. Familiarity with a range of marketing, creative, web and other agency and vendor partners and their strengths and weaknesses is helpful.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $140,000.00 to USD $190,000.00.
