The Marketing & Digital Communications Manager position will work directly for SC TEACHER and develops and leads implementation of content marketing strategy to expand current audience and increase engagement among targeted audiences in our work and organizational learning, with an emphasis on South Carolina's policy communities, K12 district leaders, and institutions of higher education. Success in this role requires expertise in communication that brings people and ideas together, insightful use of data to guide strategy, deep collaboration skills with internal and external teams, and strong project management capacity.
Job responsibilities include:
-Create, launch and maintain content marketing strategy for SC TEACHER to build audience. Manage effective collaboration with SC TEACHER staff, consultants, and others. -Create aligned content for, craft and execute plans for, and report on SC TEACHER's website, social media channels, and email. -Serve as a Brand Ambassador by advocating for the SC TEACHER brand and its organizational values and provide oversight for how team members use language that reinforces the position. -Maintain libraries of reports, photo/video content, etc. (for use by designers, video editors, etc.).
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and 6 years experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material.
