The marketing communications team formulates strategies that best fit each client's immediate and future needs, develops, manages, and executes integrated digital and social campaigns, in-person and online events, websites, monthly reporting and much more. The Senior Marketing Communications
Manager plays a key role in the development, oversight and implementation of these programs such as all outbound communications, brand identity, website and other launch efforts, while ensuring ongoing services are aligned with the client's strategic priorities and budget. This position works closely and
collaboratively with senior members of the communications/marketing team to develop strategic marketing plans.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients' communications/marketing/staff team and develop and nurture the relationships with client contacts to foster positive, long- term partnerships.
- Effectively plan, execute, and measure traditional and online marketing programs (e.g. webinars, emails, events, video scripting, etc.)
- Develop short- and long-term customized strategic marketing communications plans and budgets to support clients.
- Manage Virtual internal staff/interns to include: Training; Coaching & Professional Development; Additional Administrative Duties; PMO training.
- Collaborate with other departments such as finance, PR, clients services and IT to make sure client's marketing goals and objectives are being met across the board, within the agreed upon timeline and budget.
- Oversee the daily execution of marketing plans, assure adherence and evaluate performance and metrics.
- Build relationships with and oversee the day-to-day activity of contractors and vendors.
- Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures to ensure efficiency and quality in marketing communications operations.
- Oversee and manage reporting on all client efforts including the use of analytics with the intent to scale and optimize our efforts for maximized ROI - and identify trends and insights and optimized spend and performance based off insights.
- Manage the development and execution of branding across current and new clients - ensuring consistent delivery of branding, messaging, and quality across all channels.
- Serve as the main contact for launch services within the marketing communications department.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on marketing communications activities.
- Work with the Director, Marketing Communications and the Senior Vice President, Marketing Communications on marketing-related business development for existing and prospectus clients.

As our next Senior Marketing Communications Manager, you will bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Communications, of Journalism preferred
- MBA degree is a plus
- 10-15 years of professional experience in marketing communications: agency or association experience preferred
- Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite, PMO tools, Marketing Automation tools, Google Analytics Reporting and Social Media tools
- High level of creativity and "roll up your sleeves" working style
- Ability to manage staff hours to client budgets to ensure profitability targets are met
- Thinking outside of the box and coming up with ways to streamline everyday workflows
- Able to work cross-functionally and across all levels of an organization
- Detail-oriented, with strong, effective organizational, problem solving and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience reporting within email marketing platforms, social media platforms, and analytics platforms preferred
- Must be a self-starter with ability to manage a team, demonstrate excellence in organizational management, work well under pressure, and work independently and as a strong team player with hands-on marketing skills
- Staff management experience; experience leading cross-function teams a plus
- Some travel required
The target hiring range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 USD (annually). The starting base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors.
