Job Summary
At Harvard Business School (HBS), we educate leaders who make a difference in the world. HBS is a global brand with a wide range of internal and external audiences. The Marketing & Communications team (M&C) leads marketing strategy for the School and supports dozens of marketing or communications staff in other departments.We are seeking an experienced analyst who is passionate about website UX, customer research, and data. This newly created position will play a vital role - providing content creators, marketers, academic program staff, and faculty with insights to improve web user experience. The ideal candidate loves working with people and has an insatiable curiosity. Qualified candidates will bring expertise in qualitative UX research, proficiency in many analytics platforms, and experience managing UX projects end-to-end.
The new Manager, User Experience Analytics will join an agile team of digital experts that aim to create a culture of continuous improvement and data driven decision making. Supporting the Assistant Director, Marketing Analytics, you will work with internal clients from many departments and help them develop
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of relevant work within large organizations or a digital agency is required
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Zoom experience is a must
- Proficiency with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics).
- Proficiency with one or more behavioral analytics platform (FullStory, HotJar, Crazy Egg).
- Experience leading user research (interviews, surveys, card sorts, prototypes).
- Experience with Google Tag Manager, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Looker Studio or other data visualization tools.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated successes improving website user experience through research and analysis.
- Familiarity with web UX and design best practices (graphic design not required).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and balance priorities.
- Ability to provide superior client service, while projecting positivity and confidence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
Additional Information
This role is offered as a hybrid (some combination of onsite and remote) where you are required to be onsite at our Boston, MA-based campus 2-3 days per week. Specific days and schedules will be determined between you and your manager.This role is 40 hours per week and is overtime eligible.
We may conduct candidate interviews virtually (phone and/or via Zoom) and/or in-person for this role.
