INTRODUCTIONThe University of Connecticut (UConn) is pleased to invite applications for a one-year, annually renewable non-tenure track faculty position in the Department of Communication at the rank of Assistant Professor in Residence. The position will be based on our Stamford campus and will begin on January 1, 2025 or August 23, 2025 (negotiable). This hire is part of a strategic initiative to offer the Communication major in its entirety on the Stamford campus, capitalizing on the academic and professional opportunities posed by its proximity to New York City. The Stamford major was launched in 2022 and now enrolls over 100 students.
