The USC Marshall School of Business seeks an experienced Marketing Manager, Graduate Admissions. Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Graduate Admissions, the Marketing Manager's role includes developing and implementing marketing, communication, and outreach plans to encourage applicants to its Masters and MBA programs.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and implement targeted marketing plans for 5 MBA and 6 Masters programs, including SWOT analysis, comparative analysis, personas, and marketing tactics; continually adapt to changing landscape of graduate admissions recruitment
Marketing plan implementation and development including benchmarking; analysis of outreach, conference participation, and webpages; proposing improvements; continually researching market developments; and creating reports and presentations.
Work with faculty members, alumni, and students to develop communication strategies
Collaborate with program offices regularly to remain apprised of developments in program
Create content for website and other electronic and print materials
Create and distribute communication campaigns for prospective student inquiries and admitted students
Manage social media accounts for the admissions team and collaborate with student org social media
Work with student organizations to highlight their achievements in outreach/recruiting programs
Promote information sessions, panel discussions, open houses and special events hosted by Marshall Graduate Admissions
Utilize CRM platform to assess outcomes of outreach campaigns
Monitor analytics of outreach efforts, utilize reports to inform decisions on marketing strategy
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years demonstrated experience and background in product marketing or communications
Excellent written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Experience in social media/email marketing and utilization of CRM systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented operation.
The Marketing Administrator executes other related duties as assigned. Anticipated Hiring Range:
The salary range for this position is $75,134.23 - $86,504.25. When extending an offerof employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope andresponsibilities of the position, the candidates work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizationalconsideration.
