Position Summary Georgetown Prep seeks a creative and highly motivated Marketing Media Manager to join the Office of Marketing and Communications. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Media Manager will be the school’s lead visual storyteller—responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and producing photography and video content that elevates Georgetown Prep’s brand across platforms.
This is an ideal role for a mission-driven multimedia professional who is passionate about capturing authentic student experiences, an interest in covering sports, and building a cohesive visual identity for a dynamic and tradition-rich institution.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary photographer and videographer for all school events, capturing dynamic and engaging content that showcases student life, academics, athletics, arts, faith, and community.
Produce short-form and long-form videos to support storytelling across web, social media, and admissions and advancement initiatives.
Maintain an organized digital asset archive and manage content distribution through internal platforms.
Collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Digital Communications on content planning and publishing.
Support campaign and project needs with high-quality visual assets, including photo editing, color correction, and basic motion graphics.
Assist with creative direction and execution of branding projects and marketing campaigns.
Ensure visual consistency and uphold brand standards across all creative work.
Manage a flexible production schedule, including evening and weekend event coverage, as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a visual arts related field: photography, film, media production, communications, graphic design, or related field.
2–5 years of professional experience in multimedia content creation, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting.
Proven photography and videography skills, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates an eye for storytelling and emotion.
Proficiency with social media platforms and their content tools, especially Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects) or comparable software.
Strong writing skills for captions and internal communication.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
Commitment to and understanding of the Jesuit educational mission.
On-campus role: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for events.
Compensation Salary range is $53,000 - $80,000 with flexibility depending on experience and qualifications. Georgetown Prep offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan contributions, paid vacation, and opportunities for professional development.
