Description of Work:
The Assistant Director of Marketing position will assist in the planning and execution of marketing responsibilities surrounding 24 varsity sports at the University of Nebraska Athletic Department. This position will report to the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing and will serve as the primary marketing contact with supervision and management of all marketing and fan experience efforts and initiatives for Baseball, Soccer, Wrestling and other sports to be determined. This position will also have a role with Football. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion. Because of the nature of athletic schedules, the selected candidate may be required to work flexible hours to meet the various demands of the operation.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, advertising, sports management or related field and 1 year of full-time sports marketing experience. Knowledge of computer design programs needed, such as Adobe CreativeSuite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator). Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Sports marketing specific experience in a Power 5 collegiate athletic department. Baseball, Wrestling, or Soccer scripting and production experience. Knowledge of athletic marketing and promotions, ticket sales, and in-game management. HTML/CSS
Posted Salary: $40,000 yr/minimum
