S&P Global Sustainable1 ESG engagement marketing managers produce tailored strategies that equip market participants to maximize their contribution to the transition to a low carbon, sustainable and equitable future. The role will work under the direction of the Global ESG Engagement Marketing Director, and in partnership with the demand generation marketing team, commercial partners and marketing colleagues from across S&P Global business divisions, to lead the development and implementation of various engagement strategies to educate clients & prospects, drive lead generation, and align with the larger ESG business strategy. Key responsibilities include developing a strategic event engagement program in partnership with the regional demand generation lead including in-person, virtual and third party events, identifying innovative marketing engagement opportunities, and ultimately delivering a top quality insight experience for clients and prospects.

Marketing engagement - Design and implement creative, multi-channel ESG marketing engagement programs that educate on the practical aspects of accelerating the transition to a low carbon, sustainable and equitable future taking into consideration the different information needs of regions, segments and persona.
Event operations & management - innovate and execute a virtual and in-person ESG event program, including webinars, roundtables and third-party conferences. This includes event operations and logistics, internal and external stakeholder co-ordination, and budget management.
Cross functional teams - Collaborate with cross-divisional marketing and functional teams to deliver joined-up ESG marketing activities and provide timely updates.
Campaign content - Produce engaging and differentiated campaign content aligned to the business' ESG growth strategy. Analyse and measure performance to maximize reach and effectiveness.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess ESG marketing engagement and events experience and demonstrate a keen interest in accelerating the transition to a low carbon, sustainable and equitable future. Strong written and communication skills are critical, as is the ability to be a strong individual leader and contributor. The candidate must demonstrate their ability to deliver a top quality client experience alongside strong attention to the details. Deep expertise and hands-on experience with technical platforms such as Marketo, Cvent, ON24, Zoom Pro, CrownPeak, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office (in particular PowerPoint), Event apps, Adobe (or comparable platforms) is essential.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred)
Foundation understanding of the industries and markets covered by S&P Global
Experience in developing an annual marketing plan and budget; experience in budget management
Experience in writing marketing copy that clearly communicates a product's benefits and unique selling proposition
Knowledge of print, digital, social, and event channels used to build B2B marketing campaigns
Strong presentation skills and written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment
Ability to collaborate with others beyond one's reporting line
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Marketo marketing automation a plus
Bachelors/Associates degree preferred
Understanding of financial markets and business environment including implications to S&Ps analytical products and services is a plus.
Customer service oriented, highly organized, and has a high sense of urgency.
Experience with collaboration in a team oriented, global, and multi-cultural environment.
