The Assistant Director is responsible for:
Inclusive Marketing: Develop and implement inclusive marketing strategies using market research and student assessment. social and collaborative programs in the areas of antiracism, equity, and justice and supporting assessment of these programs.
Publication and Promotional Development: Oversee branding and promotional material development to serve department-wide needs including news stories, calendar events, newsletters, and presentation materials.
Social Media and Technology Management: Manage and develop website. Oversee all social media accounts. Develop innovative social media plans and use analytics to inform future marketing strategies.
Administration: Supervise one or more undergraduate staff. Prepare annual marketing budget. Oversee department’s marketing materials and equipment. Serve as a member of the department's professional staff team.
Outreach: Coordinate outreach events that pertain to the department’s visibility needs on campus and in the community.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or a closely related field conferred prior to start date
One year (12 months) of work experience developing and implementing marketing strategies using electronic, print media, and social networking for marketing. Note: Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or closely related field may be substituted for 12 months of work experience.
Knowledge and practice in utilizing inclusive marketing strategies
