About the Department
Marketing & Communications Department plays a vital role in promoting RRC as a brand and its mission. It conducts campaign management for marketing initiatives, monitors and manages social media as well as produces internal communications.
The Vice President of Communications and Marketing will be responsible for RRC’s strategic marketing, communications, media and public relations, domestic and global partnerships and outreach strategy. S/he will also be responsible for increasing brand awareness, engagement, and visibility to support continued growth by providing marketing and communications support, strategies, and tools in an efficient, effective, and sustainable manner. This thought leader will implement new and innovative marketing strategies to grow membership, using a Realtor-centric approach.
Develops and executes compelling, comprehensive, multi-channel marketing and communications strategy to support overall brand growth, leveraging resources available through a multitude of communication vehicles and media platforms (emails, newsletters, social media, promotions, etc.)
Contributes to and participates in the strategic planning of annual communications and marketing budget.
Leads content development and ideation for broad and targeted communications.
Keeps a keen focus on accessibility in all methods of communication and engagement delivered by RRC.
Develops and implements strategies to implement marketing programs that promote RRC’s annual conference and all member-related activities, etc.
Manages external vendors, providing direction and ensuring delivery of high-quality marketing materials, on-time and on budget.
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to strategize and drive initiatives to increase visibility and engagement via association website and social media platforms.
Develops KPI’s and data analyzation processes to measure success and ROI of campaigns, recalibrating tactics and approaches to meet and exceed goals.
Ensures accurate, consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
Responsible for reviewing all outgoing messaging to maintain quality assurance and brand guidelines.
Creates content and provides communications advice and guidance for both internal and external contributors.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism or related field. Advanced degree in related field preferred.
Work Experience: 10+ years of integrated marketing and communications experience, including at least five years of experience at a leadership level; relevant experience in real estate industry desired but not required.
Certifications: CAE and/or RCE desirable.
Ability to implement strategies through distribution channels, including chapters and international partners.
Understanding and experience in working with Realtor members is highly desirable.
A strong track record in growing membership through effective and measurable marketing strategies is highly desirable.
