Collaborating with student leaders: We're all about empowering students, and you'll play a key role in supporting their initiatives and bringing their ideas to life.
Keeping our finger on the pulse of the campus: What are students buzzing about? You'll be the first to know and use that knowledge to craft engaging content.
Wearing many hats (but rocking them all): From strategic planning to budget management, you'll be a jack-of-all-trades, making a difference in every aspect of our MCD operation.
We're looking for someone who:
Has a bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
Boasts at least 5 years of experience in marketing, public relations, or a similar field.
Has a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and creative storytelling.
Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys working with diverse groups of people.
Is a strategic thinker with a knack for problem-solving and decision-making.

Education:
BA or BS degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communication, or another related academic major. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum five years’ experience in organizational marketing and/or public relations, student activities, student personnel, college or university administration or closely related field which has demonstrated possession of the knowledge and abilities necessary to supervise the various units herein described. Three years of responsible supervisory experience preferred. A successful combination of education and experience may be considered to meet either requirement.
Minimum three years’ experience in college student union or collegiate recreation areas preferred, particularly in management and supervision of staff and events, budgeting, and fiscal responsibility for revenue-producing activities.
About the Associated Students
The Associated Students provides for student governance, shared governance of the university, programming of student activities, funding of campus organizations and athletics, and the operation of a nationally accredited child development center. As an auxiliary organization, the Associated Students does not receive any funding from state sources and does not fund campus operations customarily funded from state sources.
The Associated Students provides student development opportunities through leadership, volunteer, and employment experiences. In addition, the Associated Students provides campus community members with important social, cultural, and recreational opportunities, as well as, a wide range of programs and services. The Associated Students encourages and supports the activities of all CSU Fullerton recognized student organizations whose activities stimulate individual and group participation within the university community.
