Since 2006, the Tech Coalition has been uniting leading global tech firms to protect children from online sexual exploitation and abuse.Relaunched in 2020, the TC is a rapidly growing coalition of over 35 tech companies, including Google, Meta, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft and Sony, that have made a mutual commitment to support and collaborate for the purpose of eradicating online child sexual exploitation and abuse. The Role
The Membership Development Specialist will be responsible for supporting and implementing the business development strategies for the Tech Coalition. The candidate’s primary focus will be identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing prospect relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the Organization.The ideal candidate will research, prospect and assist in generating new commercial business. This candidate should be comfortable with finding unique ways to get customers’ attention.
Responsibilities:
Market Research:
Conduct market research to identify potential members, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Research individual contacts at prospect organizations to inform outreach messaging.
Analyze data and information to develop insights that will guide business development strategies.
Messaging and Proposal Development:
Prepare and manage presentation decks for VP of Membership Development.
Craft unique email sequences for customized outbound outreach.
Manage and create new case studies based on industry and region.
Craft collateral including one-sheeters for Membership Development purposes.
Ideate and manage webinar and live Membership Development content, as needed.
Work cross-functionally with Programs and Communications departments to ensure all messaging aligns with the Coalition’s capabilities and objectives.
Lead Generation:
Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including online research, LinkedIn, networking events, industry publications and partner programming.
Leverage CRM to keep track of all leads and progress.
Collaborate with Communications and Programs teams to develop effective lead generation strategies.
Serve as initial point of contact, as needed, for new client opportunities to aid VP of Membership Development.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Communications, Programs and Operations, to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for strategic planning purposes.
Reporting and Analysis:
Track and analyze business development performance metrics.
Prepare regular reports for management and maintain clear channels of communication to update TC staff on lead generation progress, key achievements, challenges and opportunities.

Travel: Occasional travel required
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 base salary; bonus based on performance; health insurance; 401k plan with match
