Represent North East Power and NE SPARC at community and marketing events to enhance brand visibility.
Assist in planning and organizing internal employee events aimed at strengthening morale and workplace culture
Participate in employee events and actively engage with team members to foster strong internal relationships
Gather and format content for the monthly employee newsletter to ensure timely and relevant internal updates.
Write and publish bi-monthly news posts for both NE Power and NE Sparc websites
Design and update relevant, engaging content for lobby TV.
Coordinate educational demonstrations and facilitate school visits to promote electrical safety and awareness
Attend Cooperative Youth Tour event in Jackson as a representative and chaperone
Promote Bright Ideas Grants to encourage educator participation
Engage with vendor partners by attending webinars and training sessions
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications manager for engaging different demographics
Design and coordinate employee apparel for events during the year.
Support growth of the fiber subscriber base through targeted and creative marketing initiatives
Serve as primary point of contact for fiber business subscribers; provide feedback when needed.
Follow up with any fiber subscriber that meets certain target metrics
Capture photos and videos as needed to support marketing content, social media and internal communications.
High School graduate or equivalent; Preference given to Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications related field.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and offer excellent customer service.
Must have computer knowledge and the ability to acquire strong knowledge of products and services.
Technical experience and abilities relating to the internet and VOIP services are a plus.
Must possess excellent communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to always represent oneself and the company in a professional and ethical manner.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate with subscribers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
Must have a warm, welcoming, and engaging personality.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments and manage projects effectively.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Represent the company at community events.
Coachable and willingness to learn and improve communication skills.
Must be proficient with computer skills.
Work experience of 1-2 years is not required but preferred.
High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or information technology preferred.
