The Director Content Marketing architects and leads Geisinger's content strategy team, establishes content standards and serves as an exemplary writer and editor, developing content and copy for a range of external and internal audiences across traditional and digital channels, designed to drive the business through customer engagement, conversions and brand awareness. Uses the Geisinger Brand Guide as the North Star to adhere to brand voice and align with all consumer-facing marketing materials produced by in-house and agency teams. Sets meaningful business goals and measures the effectiveness of content efforts, showing its impact towards the bottom line, and leads team of content writers, editors and producers. Educates colleagues on content standards and best practices.
Guides integrated content marketing team in SEO, consumer-focused content and copy across digital and traditional channels.
Thoroughly understands the Geisinger brand and can build/manage its value/equity by ensuring consistent expression of the Geisinger brand voice across all touchpoints.
Tracks and monitors performance for all content marketing projects.
Provides direct feedback/analytics to improve customer engagement/goals through content marketing initiatives and established KPIs.
Accountable for ensuring content marketing materials follow established brand guidelines and are production-ready for web templates, video channels and other components.
Reviews and approves organic and undiscoverable Geisinger web pages and all consumer-facing digital content before publishing live, as needed.
Proactively brings ideas for content, collaboration, social sharing, video/design and other consumer-engagement initiatives in alignment with Geisinger's strategic imperatives.
Collaborates with cross-functional colleagues to maximize content sharing/distribution.
Oversees a fully integrated team of content producers, planners and creators, including photography, video, copywriting, editing, production and other formats as needed.
